Driving:
When travelling from Toronto:
we are located on Highway 60, just over 10 km beyond the highway 35 turn-off at Dwight (or 1km beyond Algonquin Outfitters Rd. at the Oxtongue Lake Narrows bridge). Start slowing down once you pass the Parkway Cottages and Trading Post on your right or you might miss us (particularly at night). Turn right into our laneway at the gentle bend in the road. Come into the main lodge – you will likely find us there. If we’re elsewhere on the property, press the button on the intercom in the main lodge entrance way which will connect you to our walkie-talkies and we’ll come to greet you.
When travelling from Ottawa or Montreal:
we are 9km beyond the West Gate of Algonquin Park as you travel west on Highway 60. Turn left into our laneway after you cross the Oxtongue River bridge and the vehicle lay-by. Come into the main lodge – you will likely find us there. If we’re elsewhere on the property, press the button on the intercom in the main lodge entrance way which will connect you to our walkie-talkies and we’ll come to greet you.
Bus:
In the summer time and early fall the PARKBUS is an inexpensive, lower eco-impact, and fun way to reach the Wolf Den from Toronto or Ottawa. They have several stops inside and on the outskirts of the park, including our front door! Another option is tho take the Ontario Northland Bus to Huntsville (this is part of the Toronto-North Bay route) and taking a taxi out to the Wolf Den.
