Below you’ll find a breakdown of the sleeping options available at the hostel.   Scroll down to the bottom for a photo gallery of our rooms and a description of the shared guest facilities you are welcome to use during your stay.  (If you’re more interested in a completely private experience, check our our Independent Eco-Cabins.  If you don’t mind what kind of room you have it might help to look at our Weekend Availability page first, to narrow down what is available on your preferred dates.  Just a hint!)

 

Main Lodge Rooms (Private) from $43 to $84 per night, plus tax

Our five cozy private rooms are in the lower level of the main lodge.  Bathrooms are located upstairs on the main floor.

Room 1 – a double bed ($43 for one person / $66 for two people)

Room 2 – a double bed ($43 for one person / $66 for two people)

Room 4 – two single beds ($43 for one person / $66 for two people)

Room 5 – three single beds ($75 for one or two people / $84 for three people )

Room 6 – a queen bed and a single bed ($75 for one or two people / $84 for three people)

Bunkhouses (Private) from $82 to $127 per night, plus tax

Our authentic log bunkhouse rooms, which are separate from the main lodge, can sleep up to four or five guests. Toilets and showers are located in the nearby outdoor wash-station and in the main lodge. The kitchen is also located in the main lodge.

Bear East Bunkhouse – a double bed and three single beds, including one bunk-bed.  This is our only bunkhouse that sleeps up to five.   ($82 for one or two people / $97 for three / $112 for four / $127 for five) 

Bear West Bunkhouse – four single beds.  Sleeps up to four.  ($82 for one or two people / $97 for three / $112 for four) 

Loon East Bunkhouse – a queen bed and two single beds.  Sleeps up to four.  ($82 for one or two people / $97 for three / $112 for four) 

Loon West Bunkhouse – a double bed and two single beds.  Sleeps up to four.  ($82 for one or two people / $97 for three / $112 for four)

Hostel Cabins (Private), from $87 to $141 per night, plus tax

These charming 1940s cabins (some of the oldest standing cabins in our community)  are ideal for couples and families.  Toilets, showers and a fully equipped kitchen are located nearby in the main lodge as well as at an outdoor wash-station.  Hostel cabins are available from May to October only. 

Deer Cabin - A lovely one-room cabin with a queen bed and a double pull-out, as well as a screened-in porch.  It has its own barbeque and picnic table.  Sleeps up to 4.  ($87 for one or two people / $97 for three / $107 for four)

Ben’s Cabin - A two-room cabin with a queen bedroom and two single beds in the entry room.  This cabin is closest to the fire pit. Sleeps up to 4.  ($110 for one or two people / $120 for three / $130 for four)

Beaver Cabin - A three-room cabin with a queen bedroom, a bunk-bed room, and a double pull-out in the living area.  It has its own barbecue and picnic table.  Sleeps up to 6. ($121 for one to four people / $131 for three / $141 for four)

Dorms (Shared) $27 per night per person, plus tax

The upper level of each bunkhouse lodge is a large, bright, 8 bed mixed dormitory that still gives you a log cabin experience.  Ideal for large groups if you’d like to book the dorm privately.  Toilets, showers and fully equipped kitchen are located in the main lodge as well as an outdoor station.  Dorms are available from May to October only.

Hostel Facilities

Folks staying in our dorms and private hostel accommodation have full access to our common kitchen, bathroom, and lounge facilities.  These facilities include:

  • A large, fully equipped self-catering kitchen in the main lodge complete with cookware, cutlery, plates, bowls and glasses, soap and wash up gear, a commercial-sized fridge, a small freezer, dry food storage and excellent drinking water (no need to bring up bottled water, please!)
  • Two dining areas inside the main lodge, and an outdoor BBQ area, picnic tables, and a covered gazebo just outside
  • Three toilets and 2 showers inside the main lodge and an outdoor 3-season wash station with 3 more showers, toilets and sinks outside (closed from the end of October until May 1st)
  • A gorgeously comfortable lounge where you can relax after your hike or paddle and engage with other guests
  • A perfect swimming spot on the Oxtongue River with a dock to leap from or sun-bathe on
  • Beautiful gardens to sit and watch the butterflies, birds, and clouds go by
  • A communal fire pit where you might meet folks from all over the globe
  • A cedar log sauna

Please note, the Wolf Den does not have a restaurant or a store, so please bring your groceries with you!
